What I hate about politics is the dishonesty it breeds: If you are for candidate X, you make one set of arguments. If you are for the other candidate, you argue the other way. Later, if the facts switch, then you switch. (It is like the debate now over whether to vote on Obama’s Supreme Court pick. Today, the Dems say that the pick should be passed, and GOPers say they won’t talk to him. All the arguments are made. And when the shoe was on the other foot, then it was Biden and Schumer who would not support the pick, and it was the GOP who argued that the pick must be passed.)"
