It should be mentioned that Yo'atzot Halacha are not really part of the Open Orhtodoxy movement. While also formalizing and establishing a new types of positions for women within the world of Torah study and observance, they are qualitatively different than the positions for women established within Open Orthodoxy. An equation of Yo'atzot Halacha with Open Orthodoxy is, as such, somewhat misleading. This, however, does not necessarily challenge the Rosh HaYeshiva's view -- upon which I am not directly commenting with this clarification.
