Mussar: Humiliation

 
Hilchot De'ot, chapter 6, paragraph 8:

It is forbidden for a Jew [literally a man] to humiliate his fellow Jew
[even in private], how much more so in public.
 
CHRONOLOGY:
Rambam was born in 1134 CE in Córdoba, Spain and died in 1204 CE in Egypt. Many biographies have been written about him.
