ב,ה כל היום כשר לקרות את המגילה, ולקריאת ההלל, ולתקיעת שופר, ולנטילת לולב, ולתפילת המוספין, ולמוספין, ולווידוי הפרים, ולווידוי המעשר, ולווידוי יום הכיפורים, לסמיכה, ולשחיטה, לתנופה, להגשה, לקמיצה ולהקטרה, למליקה, לקבלה, ולהזיה, להשקאת סוטה, ולעריפת העגלה, ולטהר את המצורע.

A careful Reading of Mishnah M'gilah shows us that the reading of Esther at night was unknown to the Mishnah.
It was apparently first introduced by R Y'hoshua ben Levi in the Talmud.
