In a way, Steve Greenberg has put Morethodoxy into a difficult position. On one hand, Rabbi Kanefsky and friends would doubtlessly love to void the rule that marriage only occurs between one man and one woman, the better to accommodate their "alternative lifestyle" congregants and assuage their liberal consciences. On the other hand, they really don't want to give up the "Orthodox" part of their identity, tattered as it may be. Greenberg, by performing this travesty and then having the guts to write in to the Morethodoxy blog that he wasn't actually doing a gay wedding in Orthodox style, forces them into a "put up or shut up" position.
