Mar bar Rav Ashi

In the daf for Shabbat Parsah Re'eh [Shavuot 41a] -
The G'mara asks "Ulmar bar Rav Ashi d'amar ..."
This treatment of Mar bar Rav Ashi as
  1. A third person and
  2. An historical figure
  3. Having an established sheetah
all go on to strongly suggest a Talmudic Redaction after his passing. Perhaps long after his passing - when discussions of the various eminent Tannaim and Amoraim were treated in a common "milieu."
Note: this is NOT definitive proof, just a strong remez.
-----------------------
It also begs questions as to what is meant by Rav Ashi Sof hora'ah when his own "son" is treated like "one of the fellows". R Sh'rira Gaon addresses this by assigning the Ravinah as in "Ravina and Ashi sof hora'ah" as having been Ravina II. This in turn begs the question as to why it's framed
"Ravina and Rav Ashi sof hora'ah"
Instead of:
"Rav Ashi and Ravina sof hora'ah"?
Shalom
